Culture Audit: The Work You Do MATTERS

Culture Audit

Every year we measure our culture with our internal culture audit which was redesigned in 2016. It consisted of reassessing the questions that were being asked and identifying the best way to measure our five core values. Our core values are integrated with our culture, so what better way to assess the results every year! Every few years we also introduce an external audit.

In 2018 we chose The Pacific Institute with their Cultural BluePrint.  The Cultural BluePrint shows how we perceive our culture compared to the vision of where we want our culture. By assessing our culture in this manner it showed us a new view of the areas that we need to work on together.

A Story That Matters

As an alumni of both the undergraduate and graduate nursing programs, I undoubtedly knew that I wanted to be a part of the NMC culture well into my career. I am now a faculty member of the undergraduate nursing program and am proud to say Nebraska Methodist College embraces a culture of respect, holism, inclusivity, and growth. This culture is evident in every day business here at the college, from admissions to academics and administration. Smiles, encouragement, support, respect, and passion are just a few words to describe the how the culture is evident in day to day business among staff and faculty.
